A fine, three-dimensional impression with small margins all round. A printer’s crease in the lower right plate margin, a little dust-marking, otherwise in very good condition. 379 x 275mm.

Mlle Igonet (or Igonnet) engraved four plates after Boucher besides La Peinture. Le Blanc knew of only seven plates by her hand, but the British Museum possesses another two. The pair of studio scenes of 1752 are her best achievements. Thus far no information has emerged as to her life and training. Very rare.
